When I first encountered GPT-3.0, I realized something fundamental had changed. For the first time, anyone (including me!)—regardless of technical expertise—could engage with powerful AI systems and achieve results that previously required years of training. It was clear to me at that time that this was not just an incremental improvement; it was a structural shift in how businesses, organizations, and even nation-states would/could operate in the near future.

Harry Glorikian, who leads our AI practice wrote this recent insightful thought piece on what Novo Nordisk has recently accomplished on the AI front in terms of streamlining their process of drafting clinical reports. They have converted a 15 week process with 50 specialized writers to a process that can be done in 10 mins with three experts.

The biopharma industry will look very different in the next several years. While biopharma players will still continue to produce and market drugs, their fundamental business models, value proposition, how they organize themselves and go to market will change dramatically.
